Halloween Sweets!

Do you frequently visit your coworkers with candy jars on their desks?  And eat and eat and pretend the little “fun size” candy can’t have that many calories since they’re so tiny?  Well that basically sums me up at this time of the year (or maybe all year?  I have a sweet tooth).  But unlike all the previous years, this year I’m going to really limit myself and eat only 2 pieces a day!  And in doing so, I’m going to acknowledge that even  a cute fun size candy bar has calories.

  • Blow Pops = 50 calories
  • Butterfinger Bar = 85 calories
  • Candy Corn (11 pieces) = 70 calories
  • Jr. Mints = 50 calories
  • Kit Kat = 73 calories
  • Mike & Ike (sm. box) = 50 calories
  • Milk Duds = 54 calories
  • Nestle’s Crunch Bar = 50 calories
  • Peanut M&M’s= 93 calories
  • Plain M&M’s = 88 calories
  • Reese’s PB Cups (plain or white chocolate) = 100 calories
  • Skittles = 80 calories
  • Snickers = 80 calories
  • Starbucks = 40 calories
  • Three Musketeer Bar – 64 calories
  • Tootsie rolls: small bar = 50 calories
  • Twix = 50 calories
  • Whoppers (sm. pouch) = 100 calories
  • York Peppermint Patty (small) = 53 calories

It looks like most of my favorites are around 85 calories…  So a couple of pieces a day isn’t that bad! :D
